Context is More Important Than Spelling

Recently, I saw a friend I used to work with. I asked her how things were going in my old alma mater of a workplace. She looked at me for a few moments, then described the following email, which was sent to the entire staff.

Subject: MANDATORY ANAL TRAINING

Hello  (insert name of work place here),

You must complete your mandatory anal computer training within the next two weeks or you will lose computer privileges. This training is done anally, and therefore should not be a surprise to you. Again, failure to complete your anal computer training will result in loss of computer access.

Your admin team

After she told me this anecdote we didn't really talk about work.

Remember, if you mix up a rectum and a year, spellcheck isn't going to catch that.
